Hi I’m Robbie L. Storm. I was born into a family of art, architecture, design. With the smell of the oil paints and linseed oil, I knew from a very young age, I was going to only be on the paint side of the canvas.

Was there a moment that you knew you were going to pursue your talent as your career? If so please share...

“I didn’t know the “when,” just the “would” as I was told only trust fund babies had the luxury of being artists. My mother challenged the wrong daughter.”

If you could tell yourself a secret at the very beginning of your journey, what would it be?

“That I was going to save a life.”

How has fashion connected to your artistry?

“Fashion is Art. And Art is art. Everything else is everything else.For me, as with fashion, all of my art has texture.”

What's your favorite item in your closet? (it can be anything from clothing to accessories, heirlooms or shoes! really anything!)

“It’s not one. It’s one combination:Sleeveless black turtleneck + tight jeans + black boots + and a vintage black braided Dior belt.”

How do you feel when wearing your favorite item (above)?

“Safe. Maybe in a Napoleonic way, larger and more powerful than I really am.”

Do you have a special piece you like to wear while creating?

“XL tee shirts, black leggings, and flip flops.”

How do you feel once you've completed or finished a creation?

“That it’s okay to go outside.”

What was the last song you played?

“Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Every verse. Goosebumps, every time. Play it at my funeral.”
